We've temporarily lost the ability to post pictures, so bear with us. Lets see, haven't posted since before Glacier, so here's what's new. Glacier National Park is the most beautiful place I've seen in the United States. Hands Down. Everyone should go there once. Besides being beautiful, it was also a much easier climb to Logan Pass than we all had imagined. At over 6600 ft, it is the highest point we will cross in this entire trip. So, now that we've crossed the mountains we have been thrown headlong into the flats of Eastern Montana. This is a different way of life here.
Last night, we pitched our tents in the city park of Cut Bank, Mt. Evidently the only nighttime activities for citizens between the ages of 17 and 25 are to either
A: Drive through the town for hours at a time making sure that the bass in your car doesn't allow anyone to sleep. The din of the sub woofers is only broken by the occasional holler at someone on the street as they drive endlessly around the block
Or...
B: Run amok lighting fireworks and throwing them onto people's porches. After that happens, the entire Cut Bank PD arrives at the scene of the crime and proceeds to creep around the neighboring streets in search of hoodlums. Note: By entire CBPD, I mean both cops.
So now we're in Chester, Mt with about 70 miles under our belts looking to make another 57 happen so we can stay in Havre, Mt (I can't pronounce it either...maybe like Brett Favre?).
So, thumbs up, lets do this!
Tall Man Out.
